# Connecting a Wallet

Every BeeZee app is self-custodial: there is no sign-up, no email, and no password. Instead of creating an account, you connect a wallet you already own — and you stay in full control of your coins the whole time. The app never holds your funds; it simply asks your wallet to approve each action.

The **Wallet** button sits at the top of every app (DEX, Staking, Burner, Token Factory, Communities) and always shows your live BZE balance once you are connected.

## Which wallet to use

We recommend [Keplr](https://www.keplr.app/) — a free wallet for your browser and phone that works smoothly with BeeZee. The apps also work with **Leap**, **Cosmostation**, and **WalletConnect** (handy for connecting a mobile wallet by scanning a QR code).

## How to connect

1. Click the **Wallet** button in the top navigation.
2. Pick your wallet from the list.
3. Approve the connection request in your wallet.

That's it — you're connected. Once you are, the wallet panel shows your address with a **copy** button and a **View on Explorer** link, so you can check anything on the public [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/) at any time. You can **disconnect** whenever you like, and connecting again is just as quick.

## You'll need a little BZE

Actions on BeeZee cost a small network fee, so keep a little BZE in your wallet to cover them. If you don't have any yet, the wallet panel's **Buy BZE** action is the easiest way to get some.
