Stake BZE

Staking is the simplest way to put your BZE to work. By staking, you help secure the network and, in return, you receive a share of the rewards — including the new coins created through inflation. Your coins stay yours the whole time: staking delegates them to a validator, and you can unstake whenever you like after an unlocking period.

For example, delegate your BZE to a validator you trust and rewards start adding up automatically — you can claim them, or stake them again to compound, whenever it suits you.

The unstaking period is currently 21 days. This is a network setting that the community can change through governance proposals, so you can always check its current value on a block explorer. If you ever notice a mismatch between these docs and the live network, please let us know.
