# Overview

BZE Hub is a desktop application for BeeZee, currently under development. It runs a small local node on your own PC, so your computer connects to the network directly instead of going through public apps or a browser.

That means more independence and privacy: you interact with the blockchain using software you run yourself, rather than depending on a third-party website being online. It also carries its own built-in wallet, with your keys kept safely on your computer — so there's no browser extension to install.

As it takes shape, BZE Hub brings the everyday BeeZee actions into one place:

* A **dashboard** with your balances and the network's status.
* Your **portfolio**, with send and receive.
* **Trading** — instant swaps, order-book markets, and liquidity pools.
* **Staking** and reward programs.

Token burning and token creation are planned for a later update.
