## Overview

> BeeZee (BZE) is a community-driven blockchain project that aims to be the foundation for decentralized applications (DApps) and empower users through transparent governance. Leveraging the eco-friendly Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm, BZE offers high staking rewards and a greener network, with a Cosmos SDK-based architecture that enables community-governed DApps.

Discover the power of BeeZee and join the movement towards a decentralized future built on trust, transparency, and community collaboration.

# Overview

BeeZee (BZE) is a community-driven blockchain built to make decentralized tools simple to use. Rather than chasing complexity, the project focuses on a handful of practical, self-serve solutions — trading, staking, token creation, and more — that anyone can use straight from a wallet, without middlemen.

## A community-driven ecosystem

BZE is built and governed by its community. There is no central gatekeeper: token holders propose and vote on the changes that shape the network, so the direction of the project reflects the people who actually use it.

The aim is an ecosystem where decentralized solutions are approachable — where creating a token, trading it, or earning staking rewards takes a few clicks instead of technical expertise.

## Simple by design

* **Eco-friendly** — a Proof-of-Stake network that secures the chain without energy-hungry mining.
* **Fast and low-cost** — quick transactions and small fees, suited to everyday use.
* **Interoperable** — BZE and the tokens created on it can move to and from other blockchains.
* **Built for any token** — a project can run on BeeZee using its own token for everyday fees, so its app can feel like it has a blockchain of its own.

## The $BZE coin

$BZE is the coin that powers the whole network: it pays transaction fees, secures the chain through staking, and gives holders a vote in governance. Its maximum supply is capped, a large share is locked in staking to keep the network secure, a community pool funds future development through governance, and part of the fees collected across the ecosystem is regularly burned to reduce supply over time.

For the current circulating, total and maximum supply — along with the live staking APR — see the [BeeZee website](https://getbze.com).

# Getting Started

New to BeeZee? Here is the quickest way to begin.

## 1. Get a wallet

We recommend [Keplr](https://www.keplr.app/) as your go-to wallet for BeeZee. It is a free, self-custodial wallet for your browser and phone that works smoothly with BeeZee and many other blockchains — so you stay in full control of your coins, with no account to sign up for.

Step-by-step instructions for installing Keplr and adding BZE are covered in the wallet guide.

## 2. Get some BZE

You will need a small amount of BZE to pay the network's low transaction fees.

The easiest way is right inside our apps: open the wallet panel in any BeeZee dApp and use **Buy BZE**. Pick an asset you already hold on another network — connecting MetaMask, Keplr, or whatever wallet you use there — and it is swapped to BZE for you in minutes. You can also buy BZE on supported exchanges.

## 3. Explore the apps

Each app has its own guide (linked here as those pages are published):

* **DEX** — trade coins and tokens directly from your wallet.
* **Staking** — stake your BZE to help secure the network and earn rewards.
* **Token Factory** — create your own token in seconds, no coding required.
* **Burner** — take part in community token burns and burning raffles.
* **Communities** — discover and support projects built on BeeZee.

# Features

BeeZee brings together everything you need to use, create, and grow — all in one place. Here is what you can do, in plain terms.

## More on the way

BeeZee is actively developed, and new capabilities are added regularly. See the up-to-date [roadmap on the website](https://getbze.com/#roadmap).

# Stake BZE

Staking is the simplest way to put your BZE to work. By staking, you help secure the network and, in return, you receive a share of the rewards — including the new coins created through inflation. Your coins stay yours the whole time: staking delegates them to a validator, and you can unstake whenever you like after an unlocking period.

For example, delegate your BZE to a validator you trust and rewards start adding up automatically — you can claim them, or stake them again to compound, whenever it suits you.

{% hint style="info" %}
The unstaking period is currently **21 days**. This is a network setting that the community can change through governance proposals, so you can always check its current value on a [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/). If you ever notice a mismatch between these docs and the live network, please [let us know](https://discord.gg/wb68JV3QhZ).
{% endhint %}

# Trading

Trade coins and tokens directly from your wallet, your way. BeeZee gives you the choice of two trading styles:

* **Liquidity pools (AMM)** — swap instantly against a pool of assets, ideal for quick and simple trades.
* **Order-book markets** — place buy and sell orders at the price you want, for more precise trading.

Anyone can create a pool or a market for any token, and fees are kept low. Because everything settles on the blockchain, you always keep custody of your assets.

{% hint style="info" %}
**For example.** Want to swap 100 BZE for **$PAGE** right now? A liquidity pool fills it instantly. Only want $PAGE if it drops to a price you like? Place an order on the order-book market and let it wait for you.
{% endhint %}

# Create Your Own Token

Create your own token in seconds — no coding required. Your token is a first-class citizen on BeeZee: it can be traded, transferred to other blockchains, and used to grow and reward a community.

As a token creator you can:

* **Reward your stakers** — set up staking programs so the people who stake your token earn rewards.
* **Airdrop your holders** — send rewards to everyone who stakes your token.
* **Reach other communities** — airdrop the people who stake another coin, putting your token in front of an audience that is already active.
* **Reward traders&#x20;*****(coming soon)*** — reward the people who trade your token in a chosen market.
* **Pay fees in your own token** — set up a liquidity pool between your token and BZE, and your token can be used to pay the network's fees.

That last point is a big one: once your token pays the fees, the people using your app only ever need your token — never BZE. To them, it feels like BeeZee is a blockchain made just for your project.

{% hint style="success" %}
**A quick example.** Say you run an online book club. You launch **$PAGE** in a few clicks, set up a staking program so members who stake $PAGE earn a share of rewards, and airdrop your most active readers. Then you add a $PAGE–BZE liquidity pool — and now your members pay their fees in $PAGE too, taking part in everything without ever needing to hold BZE.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Coming soon:** with the next network upgrade (currently in review and reaching testnet soon), you will be able to reward your stakers with several different coins from a single program, instead of just one.
{% endhint %}

# Earn Rewards

There is more than one way to earn on BeeZee. Beyond taking part in governance and staking your BZE, you can explore the opportunities created by others across the ecosystem — joining the staking programs of other tokens to earn their rewards. The apps make it easy to browse the available programs and pick the ones that suit you.

{% hint style="info" %}
**For example.** Say you are holding **$PAGE** from a book club and **$GUILD** from a gaming guild. Stake each one in its program, and you earn both communities' rewards — all tracked in the same place.
{% endhint %}

# Burning Tokens

BeeZee supports burning tokens to permanently reduce supply. The community runs regular, governance-approved burns, and part of the fees collected across the ecosystem is sent to be burned over time. Anyone can also join **burning raffles** for a chance to earn a share of the amount being burned — adding a bit of fun to the process.

{% hint style="info" %}
**For example.** Enter a burning raffle with a small amount, and if you are drawn, you receive a share of the coins that were set to be burned — a little upside from helping keep the supply in check.
{% endhint %}

# Cross-Chain Transfers

Move BZE and the tokens created on BeeZee to and from other connected blockchains, freely and without asking permission. We are continuously working on new cross-chain connections, so the list of chains you can reach will keep expanding well beyond what is available today.

A token brought in from another chain is treated as a first-class asset here — once it has a liquidity pool with BZE, it can serve as a fee token just like one created natively.

{% hint style="info" %}
**For example.** Bring a token in from another chain, trade it on the BeeZee DEX, then send it back out whenever you like — moving it as freely as you would BZE.
{% endhint %}

# Building Communities

Everything above comes together for the people building projects on BeeZee. A community can have its own token and run it like an established project would — all without writing code:

* **Launch a token** for your project or community.
* **Reward your holders** with staking programs and airdrops.
* **Engage your community** with burning raffles and other incentives.
* **Grow over time** as new capabilities are added to the network.

In short, everything the BeeZee community does for BZE, your community can do for its own token.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** A gaming guild launches **$GUILD**, rewards the members who stake it, runs a burning raffle for its community, and adds a $GUILD–BZE pool so fees are paid in $GUILD. The guild never wrote a line of blockchain code — and to its members, it feels like they have a network of their own.
{% endhint %}

See also how your token can even pay the network fees:

{% content-ref url="/pages/mCHqogUQ6PqyoWaHxQIq" %}
[Any Token as a Fee Token](/overview/features/fee-token)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Any Token as a Fee Token

On BeeZee, almost any token can be used to pay network fees — one created here, or one bridged in from another chain — as long as it has a liquidity pool paired with BZE. The same applies to any custom fees an app charges: those can be collected in that token too. All the people using your app need is your token; they never have to hold BZE, and the blockchain does its work quietly in the background.

With enough liquidity behind it, a token can make the whole chain feel like it was built just for that project — its token pays for everything, everywhere, apart from the network's own staking, which stays in BZE to keep the chain secure.

This is a big deal for builders. It means you can launch a flexible token on a proven, ready-made blockchain and offer apps that feel entirely your own — your token, your brand, your community — without ever running or maintaining the infrastructure yourself. BeeZee works for you and your users behind the scenes.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** Picture that book club's **$PAGE** token. Members open its app, stake $PAGE, join a raffle, send tokens to a friend — and every fee along the way is paid in $PAGE. As far as they can tell, they are using "the $PAGE network," even though BeeZee is quietly doing the work underneath.
{% endhint %}

# Simple Solutions

Our goal is to make launching on BeeZee as simple as possible. We are actively building apps that any project can deploy and configure to look and feel like their own — so every community gets a polished, ready-made set of tools instead of starting from scratch.

Paired with the ability to use your own token for fees, an app on BeeZee can feel less like a shared network and more like a blockchain built for your project alone.

# CoinTrunk Project

CoinTrunk is a side project that builds practical, open-source tools for the BeeZee ecosystem. Working in partnership with BeeZee, it focuses on making Web3 useful in everyday situations — and everything it builds runs on the BeeZee blockchain.

CoinTrunk's tools include:

* **Decentralized content sharing** — a community-curated platform for publishing and reading articles stored on-chain.
* **A payment processor** *(planned)* — an easy way for merchants to accept BZE and other BeeZee assets.
* **The CoinTrunk wallet** — a self-custodial wallet, including the CoinTrunk Extension for your browser.

More tools are on the way. You can learn more at [cointrunk.io](https://cointrunk.io).

# Decentralized Content Sharing

Decentralized Content Sharing is CoinTrunk's platform for publishing and reading content that lives on the BeeZee blockchain. Instead of a single company deciding what gets published, the community governs it: trusted publishers are elected, and the rules for what can be shared are set through governance.

The result is a transparent, censorship-resistant way to publish and discover content, with articles stored immutably on-chain.

# Connecting a Wallet

Every BeeZee app is self-custodial: there is no sign-up, no email, and no password. Instead of creating an account, you connect a wallet you already own — and you stay in full control of your coins the whole time. The app never holds your funds; it simply asks your wallet to approve each action.

The **Wallet** button sits at the top of every app (DEX, Staking, Burner, Token Factory, Communities) and always shows your live BZE balance once you are connected.

## Which wallet to use

We recommend [Keplr](https://www.keplr.app/) — a free wallet for your browser and phone that works smoothly with BeeZee. The apps also work with **Leap**, **Cosmostation**, and **WalletConnect** (handy for connecting a mobile wallet by scanning a QR code).

## How to connect

1. Click the **Wallet** button in the top navigation.
2. Pick your wallet from the list.
3. Approve the connection request in your wallet.

That's it — you're connected. Once you are, the wallet panel shows your address with a **copy** button and a **View on Explorer** link, so you can check anything on the public [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/) at any time. You can **disconnect** whenever you like, and connecting again is just as quick.

## You'll need a little BZE

Actions on BeeZee cost a small network fee, so keep a little BZE in your wallet to cover them. If you don't have any yet, the wallet panel's **Buy BZE** action is the easiest way to get some.

# Balances & Sending

Click the **Wallet** button in any BeeZee app to open the wallet panel — your home for everything you hold.

## Your balances

The panel lists all your token balances, each with its approximate value in US dollars so you can see what everything is worth at a glance. BZE comes first, followed by verified tokens, then everything else ordered by value. To keep things tidy, smaller and unverified balances are tucked away — tap **Show all balances** to reveal the rest.

## Sending tokens

Sending a coin to someone takes a few seconds:

1. **Pick a coin** from your balances.
2. **Enter an amount** — or tap **Max** to send everything you hold of it.
3. **Paste the recipient's address** (it starts with `bze…`). The app checks that it's valid before you continue.
4. **Add a note** if you like — an optional short memo that travels with the transfer.
5. **Confirm**, then approve the request in your wallet.

Once it's sent, use the **View on Explorer** link to watch it confirm on the public [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/).

{% hint style="info" %}
**Double-check the address.** Transfers are final once they're confirmed on the blockchain — there's no undo button and no support desk that can reverse them. A quick look at the first and last few characters is always worth it.
{% endhint %}

{% content-ref url="/pages/EL4TcT9T29MwtAX5TQay" %}
[Buying BZE](/using-the-apps/buying-bze)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Buying BZE

The easiest way to get BZE is the **Buy BZE** action in the wallet panel. Pay with an asset you already hold on another network, and it's swapped to BZE for you — usually in just a few minutes, without leaving the app.

## How it works

1. **Choose the source network** where your funds already live — Cosmos networks through Keplr, or EVM networks through MetaMask or WalletConnect.
2. **Pick the asset** you want to pay with.
3. **Enter the amount.**

Before you confirm, you'll see everything up front:

* the **estimated BZE** you'll receive,
* an **estimated time** for it to arrive,
* the **route** your funds will take (sometimes a couple of steps behind the scenes), and
* a **small fee** for the swap.

Approve it in your wallet, and your BZE lands in your BeeZee wallet shortly after.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Slippage protection.** Crypto prices move around, so the app builds in a small buffer (about 3%). If the price shifts too far while your swap is in flight, the swap simply reverts and your funds are returned — you're never left with a surprise rate.
{% endhint %}

## A couple of honest notes

* **Availability varies.** Buy BZE depends on the app and the network you're on. It may be switched off on test networks, and some source networks show **"Soon"** while support is still being added.
* **Exchanges work too.** You can also buy BZE on supported exchanges and send it to your wallet — see the [BeeZee website](https://getbze.com) for where it's listed.

Once you've got a little BZE for fees, you're ready to explore everything the apps can do.

{% endcontent-ref %}

# Deposits & Withdrawals

BeeZee connects to other blockchains, so you can move assets in and out without asking anyone's permission. You'll find the bridge form right inside the wallet panel:

* **Deposit** brings assets *into* BeeZee from another connected chain.
* **Withdraw** sends assets *out* to a destination chain and recipient of your choice.

Either way, before you confirm you'll see the **estimated amount** you'll receive and an **estimated time** for the transfer to complete.

## Routes beyond the built-in connections

The wallet panel handles the chains that connect to BeeZee directly. For routes beyond those, the app hands off to an external bridging tool that can find a path — you carry on there, then come back to BeeZee when you're done.

## Tracking a transfer

Cross-chain transfers aren't instant — they can take a few minutes to settle. A **pending-transactions** tracker keeps you posted on the status, with a **View on Explorer** link so you can follow along on the public [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/) while everything finalises.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Availability varies.** Deposits and withdrawals can be turned on or off depending on the app and the network you're using, so you may not see the bridge form everywhere.

# Fees & Settings

The **Settings** toggle sits at the top of every BeeZee app, next to the Wallet button. Open it to fine-tune how the app looks and how you pay your fees.

## Appearance

Switch between **dark** and **light** mode, whichever is easier on your eyes. Your choice sticks the next time you visit.

## Preferred fee token

Every action on BeeZee costs a small network fee. By default that's paid in BZE — but you don't have to stop there. You can choose to pay your fees in **another token instead**, as long as that token has a liquidity pool paired with BZE. Pick your preferred fee token here, and the app takes care of the rest quietly in the background.

This is one of BeeZee's signature ideas: with a pool behind it, almost any token can pay the fees, so an app can feel like it was built entirely around that one token.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** A member of that book club sets their preferred fee token to **$PAGE**. From then on, every send, swap, and stake they make is paid in $PAGE — they take part in everything without ever needing to hold BZE, and BeeZee handles the details behind the scenes.
{% endhint %}

{% endcontent-ref %}

## Advanced

{% hint style="info" %}
**For power users, optional.** If you run your own BeeZee node or prefer a specific provider, the advanced settings let you point the app at your own network endpoints instead of the defaults. Most people never need to touch this — the app works out of the box.
{% endhint %}

# DEX

The BeeZee DEX is the app for trading on BeeZee — swapping through liquidity pools, trading on order-book markets, and earning from reward programs, all directly from your wallet.

# Overview

The BeeZee DEX lets you trade coins and tokens directly from your wallet, with no middleman holding your funds. It brings together two ways to trade and a place to put your assets to work:

* **Instant swaps** through liquidity pools.
* **Order-book markets** for placing buy and sell orders at the price you want.
* **Earn** by joining staking programs and trading rewards.

Anyone can create a market or a pool for any token, and fees are kept low. Because every trade settles on the blockchain, you always keep custody of your assets.

The DEX is organised into a few tabs — **Swap**, **Exchange**, **Pools**, **Staking**, and **Assets**. Here's what each one does:

# Swapping Tokens

Swapping is the simplest way to trade on BeeZee: pick what you have, pick what you want, and the app handles the rest in a single click. It's the home page of the DEX, and for most people it's all they'll ever need.

## Making a swap

1. **Choose your "from" token** — the one you're paying with. The picker is searchable and shows your balances, so you always know what you can spend.
2. **Choose your "to" token** — the one you want to receive.
3. **Enter an amount.** Type how much you want to spend, or use the **Max** button and the **25% / 50% / 75% / 100%** shortcuts to spend part or all of your balance. You can also type the amount you'd like to *receive*, and the app works backwards to fill in the rest.
4. **Confirm.** Your wallet asks you to approve, and the swap settles on the blockchain — no middleman ever holds your funds.

Behind the scenes, your swap trades against **liquidity pools** — shared pots of two tokens that anyone can trade between. The app automatically finds the best path for your trade, and sometimes hops through several pools to get you a better result. When it does, you'll see a **Trade Route** showing the tokens it passed through along the way.

## What you see before you confirm

Swapping is instant, but you're never trading blind. Before you approve, the app shows you:

* **The rate** — how much of the "to" token you'll get for your "from" token.
* **Price impact** — how much your own trade moves the price. Smaller is better; a large number usually means the pool is small relative to your trade.
* **The swap fee** — the trading fee that goes to the pool.
* **A small taker fee** — a flat **0.1 BZE** for trades that fill immediately.

### Max slippage

Prices can move in the moment between quoting your swap and settling it. The **Max slippage** setting is your safety net: if the price moves against you by more than you allow, the swap is cancelled instead of going through at a bad rate. Pick **0.5%**, **1%**, **2%**, or set a custom value. Tighter protection is safer, but in a fast-moving or thinly traded market a very tight setting may cause swaps to fail — loosen it a little if that happens.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** Your book club runs on **$PAGE**. A member wants some to join in, so they open the DEX, choose BZE as the "from" token and $PAGE as the "to" token, tap **50%**, and confirm. The app routes it through the $PAGE–BZE pool and their $PAGE lands in seconds — no need to hunt for a market or set a price.
{% endhint %}

## When a swap can't go through

The app tells you plainly what's happening:

* **Insufficient balance** — you don't have enough of the "from" token for the amount entered. Lower the amount or top up.
* **No route found** — there's no pool (or chain of pools) connecting those two tokens yet. Try a different pair, or someone can create a pool for it in Token Factory.

## Your recent swaps

A **Your Recent Swaps** list keeps a running history of what you've traded, so you can glance back at what went through without leaving the page.

{% hint style="info" %}
Connecting your wallet, buying BZE, and moving tokens in from other chains are shared across all the apps — see the [Using the Apps](/using-the-apps/connecting-a-wallet) guides.
{% endhint %}

# Order-Book Markets

Swapping is quick, but sometimes you want to name your own price and wait for the market to come to you. That's what **order-book markets** are for. Instead of trading against a pool, you post buy and sell orders that match with other traders — the classic way to trade, for people who want more control.

## Finding a market

Open the **Exchange** tab to browse every trading pair on BeeZee. You can search by token, and each row shows the **current price**, its **24-hour change**, and the **24-hour volume**, so you can see what's active at a glance. A **verified badge** marks pairs whose tokens have been checked, which helps you tell a well-known token from a look-alike. Pick a pair to open its market.

## On a market page

A market gives you everything you need to trade at your own price:

* **The order book** — a live list of the buy orders (bids) and sell orders (asks) waiting to be filled. Click any row to drop that price straight into your order form.
* **The price chart** — the pair's history, with timeframes you can switch between to zoom in or out.
* **Buy / Sell forms** — set the **price** you want and the **amount**, and place your order. If it matches an existing order right away, it fills; if not, it rests in the book and waits.

### Your open orders

Any order that's still waiting shows up under your **open orders**, and you can **cancel** it at any time to get your tokens back. Other tabs let you follow the **market's history** (recent trades by everyone) and **your own trades**, so you can keep track of what filled and when.

## Maker and taker fees

Which fee you pay depends on one thing: whether your order waits in the book or fills on the spot.

* A **maker** order rests in the book and adds liquidity for others to trade against — it pays the lower **maker fee** of **0.001 BZE**.
* A **taker** order fills immediately by taking an order that's already there — it pays the **taker fee** of **0.1 BZE**.

In plain terms: if you're patient and let your order sit, you pay less; if you want it done *now* and grab an existing order, you pay a little more.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** A gaming guild's **$GUILD** token trades against BZE. A member thinks it's a touch overpriced today, so instead of swapping they place a **buy** order a little below the current price and let it rest. A while later another trader sells into it, their order fills, and because their order waited in the book, they paid the small maker fee.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Wallet, buying BZE, bridging tokens in, and fee settings are shared across the apps — see the [Using the Apps](/using-the-apps/connecting-a-wallet) guides. Want to trade a pair that doesn't exist yet? New markets are created in [Token Factory](/our-apps/token-factory/markets-and-liquidity).
{% endhint %}

# Liquidity Pools

Every instant swap on BeeZee trades against a **liquidity pool** — a shared pot that holds two tokens so people can swap between them. Anyone can help fill those pots, and when you do, you earn a slice of the fees from every trade that passes through.

## How it works

A pool holds two tokens in balance, say $PAGE and BZE. Traders swap one for the other, and each swap pays a small fee that's added back to the pool. When **you add liquidity**, you put in some of both tokens and receive **LP tokens** — think of them as a receipt for your share of the pool. Your LP tokens grow more valuable as fees pile up, and you can hand them back any time to withdraw your share plus your earnings.

This is also what makes BeeZee's fee-token feature tick: once a token has a healthy pool paired with BZE, that token can be used to pay the network's fees — so a community can run entirely on its own token.

## Browsing pools

The **Pools** tab lists every pool. You can **search** for one, and **sort** by:

* **Liquidity** — how much is in the pool (deeper pools mean smaller price impact on trades).
* **Volume** — how much has traded recently.
* **APR** — an estimate of the yearly return from fees, so you can compare pools at a glance.

A **My Pools** view keeps just the pools you're already in. Open any pool to see its **reserves** (how much of each token it holds), the current **price**, its **total liquidity**, and how the trading fee is split — typically between **liquidity providers** (you), the **protocol**, and **buyback & burn**, which uses part of every fee to buy back and permanently remove tokens from supply.

## Adding liquidity

1. Open the pool and choose **Add liquidity**.
2. Enter an amount for **one** side — the app fills in the matching amount of the other token automatically, to keep the pool balanced.
3. Set your **slippage** tolerance (the same safety net as swapping — it protects you if the price shifts while you deposit).
4. Confirm, and you receive **LP tokens** representing your share.

## Removing liquidity

To withdraw, open the pool, choose **Remove liquidity**, and drag the **percentage slider** to pick how much to take out — from a sliver to all of it. Confirm, and your share of both tokens (including the fees you've earned) comes back to your wallet, and the matching LP tokens are returned.

{% hint style="info" %}
**A word on impermanent loss.** When the two tokens' prices drift apart, the value of your deposit can end up a little lower than if you'd simply held the two tokens on their own. The fees you earn are there to make up for it, but it's an honest trade-off worth knowing before you add liquidity — deep, steady pairs tend to feel it least.
{% endhint %}

## Boost Rewards

Some pools let you go a step further. With **Boost Rewards**, you can **lock your LP tokens** into a reward program to earn **extra token rewards** on top of your normal share of trading fees. Before you commit, the app shows your **estimated daily rewards** and the **unlock period**, so you know exactly what you're signing up for.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Locking has a lock-up.** While your LP tokens are locked, you can't remove that liquidity, and when you decide to unlock there's a **waiting time** before you get them back. Only lock what you're comfortable leaving in place for the full period.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** The book club seeds a **$PAGE–BZE** pool so members can swap in and out easily. A few keen members add liquidity, earn a cut of every trade, and then lock their LP tokens with Boost Rewards to pick up extra $PAGE on top — and because the pool exists, members can now pay their fees in $PAGE too.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}

# Staking & Earning

The DEX isn't only for trading — its **Staking** page lets you put your tokens to work and earn rewards while you hold them. There are two ways to do it.

* **Stake BZE with a validator.** Validators are the machines that keep the BeeZee network running. When you stake (delegate) your BZE to one, you help secure the chain and earn a share of the rewards it produces, including the new BZE created by inflation. Your BZE never leaves your control — you're lending your vote of confidence, not handing it over.
* **Join reward programs.** Some tokens run programs that pay you for staking them. Each program shows an **estimated APR** (a yearly rate, based on current conditions), your **daily rewards**, and an **unlock period** — the waiting time before your tokens come back when you unstake.

{% hint style="info" %}
Rewards are **claimed manually** — they build up over time, and you collect them whenever you like from the Staking page. They don't get added to your stake automatically.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Unstaking isn't instant. Both BZE staking and token reward programs have an **unlock period**, during which your tokens are locked and earning nothing before they return to your wallet. Check the period shown before you commit.
{% endhint %}

This page is the friendly summary. For step-by-step guides, head to the pages built for each:

{% endcontent-ref %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** A gaming guild sets up a reward program that pays out **$GUILD** to anyone who stakes it. Members stake their $GUILD from the Staking page, watch their daily rewards tick up, and claim them whenever they want — earning simply for being part of the guild.
{% endhint %}

# Assets Directory

The **Assets** page is BeeZee's token directory — a searchable list of every coin and token on the network. It's the best place to look something up before you trade it.

## Browsing tokens

Search for any token, or scroll the full list. At the top you'll see counts that give you a feel for the whole network:

* **Total** — every token on BeeZee.
* **Native** — tokens created here on BeeZee.
* **Community-created** — tokens launched by projects and communities using Token Factory.
* **Bridged** — tokens that originated on another blockchain and were moved in.

Each token in the list shows its **price**, its **24-hour change**, a **verified badge** where the token has been checked, and its **type** so you can tell at a glance where it came from.

## Looking at a single token

Open any token for the full picture:

* **Supply** and **volume** — how much exists and how much is trading.
* **Where it came from** — for a community-created token, that includes the **creator**, so you can see who's behind it.
* **Markets & pools** — the order-book markets and liquidity pools where the token trades, with a tap-through to go trade it.

This detail is what makes the Assets page such a handy vetting tool. Before you swap for a token you don't recognise, a quick look tells you whether it's **verified**, who created it, and how much real trading is happening around it.

{% hint style="warning" %}
A **verified** badge is a helpful signal, not a guarantee of value. An **unverified** token isn't necessarily bad — but it's worth a closer look. Check the creator, the trading volume, and where it's paired before you commit, and never trade more than you're comfortable with.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** Someone spots a token called **$PAGE** and wants to make sure it's the book club's real one before buying. They open it in Assets, see the **verified** badge, recognise the creator, and confirm it trades in the $PAGE–BZE pool they expected — then swap with confidence.
{% endhint %}

# Staking

The Staking app is where you delegate your BZE to validators to help secure the network and earn rewards.

# Overview

The Staking app is the home for securing the network and earning staking rewards. From here you can choose a validator to delegate your BZE to, claim the rewards you earn, and unstake when you want to.

Staking keeps your coins in your control the whole time — you are simply choosing a validator to back. In return, you receive a share of the network rewards, including the new coins created through inflation.

Start with the first guide to pick a validator and stake, then use the second to claim rewards, unstake, and move your stake around.

# Staking Your BZE

Staking is the simplest way to put your BZE to work. You delegate some of your coins to a **validator** — one of the computers that keep the network running — and in return you earn a share of the rewards, including the new coins the network creates through inflation. You are helping keep BeeZee secure, and your coins stay yours the whole time: you are only choosing who to back, never handing them over.

Everything happens on one dashboard at [staking.getbze.com](https://staking.getbze.com). Before you can stake, connect a wallet.

{% content-ref url="/pages/QycsF4tJUWdM9sNU4cvb" %}
[Connecting a Wallet](/using-the-apps/connecting-a-wallet)
{% endcontent-ref %}

## What the dashboard shows you

At the top of the page you will see a few headline numbers that tell you what staking looks like right now:

* **Staking APR** — roughly what you can expect to earn over a year, along with how much BZE is being handed out to stakers each day.
* **How much of the network is staked** — the share of all BZE that people have delegated. A higher share means a more secure network.
* **The unbonding period** — how long your coins take to come back to you after you unstake (more on that in [Managing Your Stake](/our-apps/staking/managing-your-stake)).

These figures update with the live network. For the wider tokenomics picture, head to the [BeeZee website](https://getbze.com).

## Choosing a validator

Below the headline numbers is the **validator list** — every validator you can delegate to. You can scroll or search it, and each entry tells you what you need to know at a glance:

* **Rank / voting power** — how much is staked with that validator. This is a rough sign of how established and trusted it is.
* **Commission %** — the small cut the validator keeps from the rewards before passing the rest to you. Lower is more generous to you, but a healthy validator needs some commission to keep its machines running.
* **A "Jailed" badge** — this appears when a validator is currently offline or has been penalised for misbehaving. A jailed validator earns no rewards, so neither would you while backing it.

As a rule of thumb, pick an **active validator with a reasonable commission**, and steer clear of any showing a Jailed badge. Spreading your stake across more than one validator is also a perfectly good idea.

## Delegating your BZE

Once you have picked a validator, staking takes a few seconds:

1. Click **Stake** next to the validator.
2. Enter an amount. Handy shortcuts fill in **25%, 50%, 75%, or Max** of your balance for you.
3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet, and you are done — rewards start adding up automatically.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Keep a little BZE spare for fees.** Every transaction on the network costs a tiny fee in BZE, so it is best not to stake absolutely everything. If you try to stake your whole balance, the app offers a one-click **Reserve BZE for fees** option that leaves a small amount behind for you — take it, so you can always claim rewards, unstake, or move coins later.
{% endhint %}

That is all there is to it. Once your BZE is staked, you can watch your rewards grow, claim them, move your stake, or unstake at any time.

[Stake BZE](/overview/features/stake-bze)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Managing Your Stake

Once your BZE is staked, the [Staking app](https://staking.getbze.com) becomes your home for keeping an eye on it — collecting your rewards, moving your stake around, and unstaking when the time comes. Here is how each part works.

## Your validators

The **Your validators** section lists everything you have delegated: which validators you back, how much you have staked with each, and the **pending rewards** waiting for you to claim.

If a validator you back goes inactive or gets jailed — meaning it has stopped doing its job and is earning nothing — the app flags it with a **"Not earning rewards"** warning so you notice quickly. Right beside the warning is a **Redelegate** shortcut, which lets you move that stake to a healthy validator in one step (see [Redelegating](#redelegating) below).

## Claiming rewards

Your rewards build up automatically from the moment you stake — but they do not land in your wallet on their own. You have to **claim** them yourself. There is no auto-compound on the network, so nothing moves until you say so.

Claiming is quick. The app opens a batch dialog where you can **select some or all of your validators** and collect all their rewards in a single transaction.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Want to compound?** Since rewards do not reinvest themselves, compounding is a two-step move: **claim** your rewards, then **stake** them again on top of your existing delegation. Do that regularly and your stake — and your future rewards — keep growing.
{% endhint %}

## Unstaking (undelegating)

When you want your coins back, you **unstake** (also called undelegating). This does not return your BZE straight away — it begins an **unbonding period**, a waiting time during which the coins are locked, earning nothing, before they arrive back in your wallet.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Unstaking is not instant.** The unbonding period is currently **21 days**. During that time your coins are locked and earn no rewards, and the unbonding cannot be cancelled once started. This is a network setting the community can change through governance, so you can always check the current value on a [block explorer](https://explorer.getbze.com/). If you only need to switch validators, **redelegating** avoids this wait entirely.
{% endhint %}

The app keeps track of any unbonding you have in progress, showing each one with the time left (for example "X days left") or marked **Ready** with the date the coins become available again.

## Redelegating

**Redelegating** moves stake from one validator to another **without** the unbonding wait — your coins keep earning the whole time, with no 21-day lock. It is the go-to fix when a validator you back goes offline or gets jailed: instead of unstaking and waiting, you simply redelegate to a healthy validator and carry on earning. You will find a **Redelegate** action on each of your delegations, and a shortcut right next to any "Not earning rewards" warning.

## A couple of honest notes

{% hint style="info" %}
**This app is for native BZE staking only.** Reward programs for *other* tokens — staking your BZE or project tokens to earn a mix of coins — live in the DEX and Communities apps instead. There is also no governance voting here.

# Overview

The Burner app is where BeeZee permanently removes coins from circulation. Part of the fees collected across the ecosystem is sent here to be burned, and the community approves regular burns through governance.

You can also take part in **burning raffles** for a chance to earn a share of the amount being burned — a fun way to be part of keeping the supply in check.

Two guides walk you through it: burning coins you hold, and joining the raffles.

[Burning Tokens](/overview/features/token-burning)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Burning Tokens

Burning means permanently destroying coins so they can never be used again. It's a simple idea with a real effect: every coin burned is gone for good, which lowers the total amount in circulation. The Burner app — themed as "the burning pot" — is where BeeZee does this out in the open, for anyone to see and take part in.

## Burning coins you hold

1. On the home page, click **Burn Coins Now**.
2. **Pick a token you hold.** The picker is searchable and shows your balances.
3. **Enter an amount.** Type how much you want to burn, or use the **Max** button to send all of it.
4. **Confirm.** Your wallet asks you to approve, and your coins are handed to the pot.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Burning is permanent — there are no take-backs.** Once you confirm, those coins are gone forever. Nobody, including you, can recover them or undo the burn. Only burn what you truly mean to destroy.
{% endhint %}

## When the burn actually happens

Burning isn't instant. When you burn coins, they're sent to **the pot** and wait there until the next **scheduled burn**, which happens once a week. On the burn, everything in the pot is destroyed together.

So the home page always shows you two things:

* A **Ready to Burn** list — the coins currently waiting in the pot for the next burn.
* A **countdown** to the next scheduled burn, so you know exactly when it'll go up in smoke.

## Not every coin burns the same way

This part surprises people, so here it is plainly. Depending on the kind of coin, the pot does one of three things:

* **Native BZE and community-created tokens are burned.** Straightforward — they're destroyed on the next burn.
* **Liquidity pool (LP) tokens can't be burned.** An LP token is a receipt for a share of a shared trading pool, and destroying it would strand the funds behind it. Instead, these are **locked forever** in an address that has no key, so no one can ever move them again. For these, the app shows a **Lock** button rather than **Burn** — the effect is the same permanence, just achieved by locking away instead of destroying.
* **Bridged (IBC) tokens are swapped first.** A bridged token is one that arrived from another blockchain. It can't be burned directly, so the pot first swaps it to BZE — which needs a BZE liquidity pool to swap through — and then burns that BZE.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Locking LP tokens is just as final as burning. Locked tokens go to a no-key address and can never be recovered — treat the **Lock** button with the same care as **Burn**.
{% endhint %}

## What the home dashboard shows

The Burner home page is a live picture of everything that's been taken out of supply:

* **Total BZE burned** all-time.
* **Total value locked forever** — the LP tokens and other assets held in no-key addresses.
* A **burn history** — recent burns with the amount, the value at the time, and when they happened.
* A **coin search**, so you can look up any specific token quickly.

## Where do burned coins come from?

Not all burning is manual. Part of the fees collected across the whole BeeZee ecosystem is quietly routed to the burner and destroyed over time. That means supply keeps gently shrinking in the background, even when nobody is burning coins by hand. Your own burns simply add to that steady drip.

{% hint style="info" %}
You'll need a connected wallet before you can burn anything. Connecting your wallet is shared across all the apps — see [Connecting a Wallet](/using-the-apps/connecting-a-wallet).
{% endhint %}

{% content-ref url="/pages/ss4xjbk1Fe9WoHKf2vYA" %}
[Burning Tokens](/overview/features/token-burning)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Burning Raffles

A burning raffle is a way to help burn coins and maybe get a little something back for it — not a bet. Here's the key idea: **every contribution you make burns tokens**. That's the whole point. In return, each contribution gives you a chance to win a share of the prize pot, and whatever is left in the pot when the raffle ends is burned too. Win or not, your contribution always did its job — it took coins out of supply.

Because it's built entirely on burning, a raffle is a contribution mechanism, never gambling. You're not staking money hoping to grow it; you're helping shrink the supply, with a friendly chance of a reward for taking part.

## Taking part

When a coin has an active raffle running, you'll see a **Join Raffle** option on it. From there:

1. **Choose how many contributions** you'd like to make — each one is like a ticket.
2. The app shows you the **price per contribution**, your **total cost**, and your **win chance**, written plainly as "**1 in N**".
3. **Confirm**, and your tokens are burned as your contributions go in.

More contributions improve your chances — but they never guarantee a win. A better "1 in N" is still just a chance, so only contribute what you're happy to burn regardless of the outcome.

## Seeing your results

Results settle a couple of moments after you join. When they're ready, a full-screen animation plays and reveals the outcome of each of your contributions one by one, followed by a summary of how you did.

{% hint style="info" %}
You don't have to sit and watch. If you close the animation, nothing is lost — your results still arrive as notifications, and any winnings are yours all the same. Close it whenever you like.
{% endhint %}

## Finding raffles and winners

* A dedicated **raffles page** lists every active raffle in one place, showing the **prize**, the **price** per contribution, your **chance**, and the **time left** to join.
* Each coin also keeps a **winners list**, so you can see who's won recently. Your own wins are tagged, making them easy to spot.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** That gaming guild runs a raffle on its **$GUILD** token to celebrate a new season. Members join with a few contributions each — every one of those burns $GUILD — and a handful walk away with a share of the pot. Whatever's left over is burned when the raffle wraps up, so the community ends the event with a little less $GUILD in supply and a bit of shared fun along the way.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
You'll need a connected wallet to join a raffle. Connecting your wallet is shared across all the apps — see [Connecting a Wallet](/using-the-apps/connecting-a-wallet).

# Overview

Token Factory lets anyone create their own token in seconds and manage it over time. Once your token exists, you can grow a community around it — setting up staking programs, rewarding and airdropping your holders, and reaching the people who already support other projects.

Your token works everywhere on BeeZee: it can be traded on the DEX, sent to other blockchains, and — once it has a liquidity pool with BZE — even used to pay the network's fees.

The app has two tabs: **Create**, the guided wizard for launching a token, and **Manage**, your console for everything you've made. Here's what you can do:

{% endcontent-ref %}

# Creating a Token

Creating your own token takes a few minutes and no coding. Open the **Create** tab in Token Factory and a guided wizard walks you through four short steps — you can move back and forth before anything is final.

## The four steps

### 1. Identity

Give your token a **name** (the full, human-friendly name) and a **symbol** — the short ticker people will see everywhere, like $PAGE or $GUILD. Pick something clear and memorable; this is how your token shows up on the DEX, in wallets, and in every app.

Behind the scenes, BeeZee also assigns your token a unique ID automatically so it can never clash with anyone else's. You don't need to think about it — it's just there to keep your token one-of-a-kind.

### 2. Metadata

Add an optional **description** — a sentence or two about what your token is for. It's a nice touch that helps people understand your project at a glance, but you can leave it blank and add it later.

### 3. Supply & Admin

Choose your **initial supply** — how many tokens to create at launch. This whole amount is minted straight to your wallet, so you start holding everything and can distribute it however you like.

The number of **decimals** is fixed at the BeeZee standard, the same for every token on the network. That's on purpose: a shared standard keeps tokens consistent and predictable across all the apps, so it isn't something you set.

This step also holds the one big decision — your **admin** choice — covered on its own below.

### 4. Review

A final summary shows everything you picked. Check it over, confirm in your wallet, and your token is created on the blockchain. Your initial supply lands in your wallet right away.

## The big decision: keep or renounce admin

Being the **admin** means holding the keys to your token — the power to change it after launch. You choose upfront how much of that power you want to keep, and it comes down to a trade-off between flexibility and trust.

**Keep admin (flexible).** You stay in control. Later on you can mint more supply, burn tokens, and edit your token's details. This is the right choice for most projects that are still growing and want room to adapt. The trade-off: holders have to trust you not to mint a flood of new tokens and dilute them.

**Renounce at creation (maximum trust).** You give up all admin power the moment the token is born. The supply is fixed forever — no one can ever mint more, not even you. This is the strongest possible signal to holders that what they see is what they get, but it's a one-way door.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Renouncing is irreversible.** Once you renounce admin, there is no take-back — you can never mint, edit, or reclaim control again. Only choose this at creation if you are certain you want a permanently fixed supply. If you're unsure, keep admin for now; you can always renounce later from the Manage console.
{% endhint %}

## After you create

Your token now exists and works everywhere on BeeZee. From here you can:

* **View it on the DEX or a** [**block explorer**](https://explorer.getbze.com/) to see it live on the network.
* **Create a market or a liquidity pool** so people can actually trade it.
* **Set up staking rewards** to grow a community around it.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** Your online book club launches **$PAGE**. In the wizard you name it, set an initial supply, and decide to *keep admin* for now — the club is young and you might want to mint more for new members later. # Managing Your Token

The **Manage** tab is your control room. It lists everything you've created in Token Factory — your tokens, along with any markets, liquidity pools, and reward programs you've set up — all in one place so you can keep an eye on your whole project.

## The trust badge

Every token you've made shows a badge that tells anyone, at a glance, what kind of token it is:

* **Fixed supply** — admin has been renounced, so no new tokens can ever be minted. What you see is what there will always be.
* **Mintable** — you still hold admin and could mint more supply later.

This badge is a big part of how holders judge a token, so it's worth understanding which one yours carries.

## Token actions

The actions below are available only to the token's **admin** — if you renounced admin, most of these are gone for good.

### Mint

Create more of your token, minted straight to your wallet. Handy when your project grows and you need more supply to distribute.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Minting dilutes existing holders.** Every new token you mint makes each existing token a smaller slice of the total. Use it thoughtfully — minting a lot, or often, can shake holders' trust.
{% endhint %}

### Burn

Permanently remove tokens from your own balance, shrinking the total supply. You can burn here in Token Factory, or use the dedicated **Burner** app for the same job.

### Edit metadata

Update your token's **name** and **description** as your project evolves. Two things can never change, though: the **symbol** (ticker) and the number of **decimals** are locked from creation so that everyone across the network always refers to your token the same way.

### Transfer admin

Hand admin control to another wallet address — useful if a project moves to a team wallet or a new owner.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**You are handing over full control.** The address you transfer to gains every admin power you have — minting, burning, editing, even renouncing. Double-check the address before you confirm; there's no undo if you send it to the wrong place.
{% endhint %}

### Renounce admin (Danger zone)

Renouncing gives up your admin power for good and flips your token to **Fixed supply** — provably, permanently, so holders can trust the supply will never grow. Because it's such a final step, it lives in a **Danger zone** and asks you to **type your token's ticker** to confirm you really mean it.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**This cannot be undone.** Once you renounce, no one — including you — can ever mint more, edit details, or reclaim control. Only do this when you're certain you want your token's supply fixed forever.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** The book club's **$PAGE** has settled into a steady membership and the supply feels right. To reassure members that no more $PAGE will ever appear, the club opens the Danger zone, types `PAGE` to confirm, and renounces admin. The badge flips to **Fixed supply**, and from now on $PAGE is provably capped.
{% endhint %}

# Markets & Liquidity

A brand-new token can't be traded until there's somewhere to trade it. Token Factory gives you two ways to open your token up to the world: an **order-book market** for hands-on trading, and a **liquidity pool** for instant swaps. Many projects set up both.

## Create a market

A **market** pairs your token with another so the two can be traded against each other — most often **your token vs BZE**. It's an order book: people place buy and sell orders at the prices they choose, and matching orders trade.

Just pick the two tokens for the pair and confirm. The app checks that the same pair doesn't already exist and won't let you create a duplicate — one market per pair keeps trading tidy and liquidity in one place.

## Create a liquidity pool

A **liquidity pool** is a shared pot of two tokens that anyone can swap between instantly, with no order to place and no counterparty to wait for. Seeding one for your token is what makes those effortless one-click swaps possible.

When you create a pool you set:

* **The two tokens** and how much of each to seed it with. The starting amounts set the opening price.
* **The swap fee** — the trading fee paid on every swap through the pool. Choose **0.1%**, **0.2%**, **0.3%**, **1%**, or set a **custom** value. Lower fees attract more trades; higher fees earn more per trade.
* **The fee split** — how that fee is divided up. You decide the shares that go to the pool's **liquidity providers** (the people who supply tokens to the pool), to the **burner** (permanently removing tokens from circulation), and to your own **treasury**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**The first liquidity is locked forever.** When a pool is created, the very first batch of **LP tokens** — the receipts that represent a share of the pool — is permanently burned rather than given to anyone. This is deliberate: it leaves a small, permanent floor of liquidity that can never be pulled out, so the pool can't be fully drained and simply vanish. It's a one-time, irreversible cost of opening a pool, and it protects everyone who trades or provides liquidity afterwards.
{% endhint %}

## Add liquidity

Once a pool exists, anyone can **add liquidity** to it — including you, topping up your own. You deposit both tokens and receive **LP tokens** in return, representing your share of the pool and the fees it earns.

* **Ratio-locked inputs.** You add the two tokens in the pool's current proportion, so when you type an amount for one side the app fills in the matching amount for the other. This keeps the pool balanced.
* **Slippage setting.** A pool's ratio can shift in the moment while your deposit settles. A slippage setting protects you: if it moves more than you allow, the deposit is cancelled instead of going through on worse terms.

## Why pairing with BZE matters

Giving your token a pool **with BZE** does more than enable swaps. It's also the key that unlocks one of BeeZee's signature ideas: once your token has a BZE pool behind it, your token can be used to **pay network fees**, and newcomers can pick it up in a single swap. To people using your app, it can feel like BeeZee was built just for your project.

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** The book club creates a **$PAGE–BZE** market so members can place orders, then seeds a **$PAGE–BZE** pool with a 0.3% swap fee for instant swaps. With that pool live, new members can grab $PAGE in one click — and they can even pay their fees in $PAGE from then on.

# Staking Rewards

Rewards are how you turn a token into a community. In Token Factory you can fund a **staking reward** program: people lock up a chosen token, and for as long as they keep it staked they earn a daily prize. It's a simple, powerful way to thank the people who back your project and encourage them to stick around.

## Create a staking reward

When you set up a program, you decide the whole shape of it:

* **The staked token** — what people lock up to take part. It can be **your own token**, or even an **LP token** from a liquidity pool, so you can reward the people providing liquidity for you.
* **The prize token** — what stakers earn. Choose any token you like as the reward.
* **Prize per day** — how much of the prize token is shared out among all stakers each day.
* **Duration** — how many days the program runs.
* **Lock period** *(optional)* — a minimum time stakers must keep their tokens in before they can withdraw. Leave it off for a come-and-go program, or set one to reward longer commitment.
* **Minimum stake** *(optional)* — the smallest amount someone can stake to join.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**The entire prize is funded upfront, and it's non-refundable.** When you create the program, the full reward pot — **prize per day × duration** — is taken from your wallet and locked in immediately. You can't pull it back out. So before you confirm, be sure of the numbers: a large daily prize over a long duration adds up to a serious commitment. Start with amounts you're completely comfortable giving away.
{% endhint %}

## Extend a program

A running program can always be topped up — and not just by you. **Anyone** can extend it, adding more days and funds to keep the rewards flowing. That means your community can rally to keep a popular program alive even after your initial funding runs out.

## Coming soon

Token Factory is growing, and two more ways to reward people are on the way but **not available yet**:

* **Airdrops** — send rewards directly to your holders, or to the people who stake another coin, putting your token in front of a community that's already active.
* **Trading rewards** — reward the people who trade your token in a chosen market.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Coming soon.** Airdrops and trading rewards are planned but not yet live in this app. For now, staking rewards are the way to reward your community here — the rest is on the roadmap.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** The book club wants to reward loyal readers, so it creates a staking reward: stake **$PAGE**, earn a daily share of a $PAGE prize pot over 90 days, with a short lock period to encourage members to stay. The club funds all 90 days upfront. Later, when it's proving popular, a couple of members chip in to extend it another month.
{% endhint %}

The bigger picture of what token creators can build — including the rewards still to come — lives here:

# Overview

The Communities app gives every project built on BeeZee a home of its own. Here you can discover community tokens and take part in what they offer — from staking programs to rewards and more — all in one place.

It ties together everything a community can build on BeeZee, seen from the perspective of the people who want to join and support a project. The clever part: open any token and the app **rebrands around that project** — its logo, its colours, its token front and centre — so it feels like the token's own site rather than a shared directory.

# Discovering Tokens

The [Communities app](https://communities.getbze.com) opens on a directory of every community token — the tokens people have created with Token Factory. It is the front door to the projects building on BeeZee: browse them, find one that catches your eye, and step into its world.

## Browsing the directory

Tokens are laid out as a grid of cards, listed **alphabetically** and spread across pages, so you can page through the whole collection at your own pace. Each card gives you the essentials at a glance:

* the token's **logo**,
* its **name and ticker** (like $PAGE or $GUILD),
* a **verified** badge when the project has been checked, and
* the **total supply**.

Click any card to open that token's **dedicated page**, where everything the community offers lives — its staking programs, a way to get the token, its burn stats, and more. Each token page even rebrands the app around that project, so it feels less like a shared directory and more like the token's own site.

{% hint style="info" %}
**No keyword search yet.** For now, finding a token means browsing the alphabetical pages rather than typing its name into a search box. A search feature is something that may come later; until then, the pages are quick to flip through.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Only community tokens appear here.** The directory lists tokens created with Token Factory. BZE itself and coins bridged in from other networks are not part of this list — this is the home for projects built on BeeZee.
{% endhint %}

{% content-ref url="/pages/19OpWrI3nbX9BEK3wffe" %}
[Overview](/our-apps/token-factory/overview)
{% endcontent-ref %}

# Staking Programs

The heart of a token's page is its **staking programs** — ways to lock up tokens and earn rewards over time. A project can run programs that reward you for holding its own token, and it can also reward the people who stake other coins, putting itself in front of a wider audience. You will see them sorted into two clear groups:

* **Stake \[TOKEN] to earn** — put the community's token to work and collect rewards.
* **Earn \[TOKEN] by staking** — stake a different coin and earn this community's token in return.

## Reading a program card

Each program is shown as a card so you can size it up before joining. At a glance you will find:

* **Status** — **Running** (live and paying out), **Waiting for stakers** (open, but no one has joined yet), or **Finished** (the program has ended).
* An **estimated APR** — a friendly yearly-return figure so you can compare programs.
* **Days remaining** — how long the program keeps paying.
* The **daily payout** — how much is shared out among stakers each day.
* The **minimum stake** — the smallest amount you can put in.
* The **total staked** — how much everyone has committed so far.

{% hint style="info" %}
**APR is an estimate, not a promise.** The APR is worked out from the current rewards and how much is staked right now. As people stake and unstake, and as the program runs down, the real figure moves. Treat it as a helpful guide for comparing programs, not a guaranteed return.
{% endhint %}

## Taking part

Everything you do with a program happens in a single window. Open it from a program card and you will find three actions.

* **Stake** — enter how much you want to commit, or tap **Max** to use your whole balance. Before you confirm, the app shows your **estimated daily rewards** at that amount. If your stake is large enough to noticeably move the returns, it also shows a projected **new APR** — a heads-up that adding a lot to the pool spreads the same rewards across more staked tokens.
* **Unstake** — take some or all of your tokens back out. This starts a **lock period**: a short waiting time before the tokens are free to use again, so they do not leave the moment you ask.
* **Claim** — collect the rewards you have earned so far and send them to your wallet.

The same window keeps track of where you stand: your **current stake**, your **pending rewards** waiting to be claimed, and any **pending unlocks** still counting down from an unstake.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Unstaking is not instant.** When you unstake, your tokens are held for the program's lock period before they return to your wallet, and during that time they are not earning. Check the amount and the wait before you confirm.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**For example.** A gaming guild runs **$GUILD**. You open its page in the Communities app and spot a **Stake $GUILD to earn** program that's **Running** with a healthy estimated APR and 40 days left. You stake some $GUILD, the window shows your estimated daily rewards, and from then on you drop back in now and then to **Claim** what you have earned.

# Getting a Token

Found a project you want to join? You don't have to go hunting for it on an exchange. Right on a token's page in the [Communities app](https://communities.getbze.com), you can get the token without leaving — so joining a community is as simple as visiting its page.

## Buying the token

If you already hold BZE, getting the community's token is one quick swap. The token page shows a small buy panel where you:

1. **Enter how much you want to spend** in BZE.
2. See a **live quote** — the **expected amount** of the token you'll receive.
3. Check the **price impact** — how much your own purchase nudges the price. Smaller is better; a large number usually means the pool is small relative to your trade.
4. Set your **slippage** — a safety buffer. If the price moves against you by more than you allow between quoting and settling, the swap is cancelled instead of going through at a bad rate.

Confirm in your wallet and the token lands in your BeeZee wallet.

Don't hold any BZE yet? You can bring in funds from another network first, then swap into the token.

{% content-ref url="/pages/EL4TcT9T29MwtAX5TQay" %}
[Buying BZE](/using-the-apps/buying-bze)
{% endcontent-ref %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**This appears only when it can work well.** The buy panel shows up when the token has a healthy **liquidity pool paired with BZE** — a shared pot the swap can trade against. If a project hasn't set one up yet, the option is simply hidden, and you'd get the token another way (for example, on the DEX if a market exists).
{% endhint %}

## Paying fees in the community's token

Open the **settings** on a token page and you may find a **"pay fees in this token"** toggle. Turn it on and this app collects its network fees in that community's token instead of BZE — so you can take part in everything a project offers without ever needing to hold BZE.

It's a small switch with a big effect: using a community's app starts to feel like using the community's own network, with its token paying for everything along the way. As with buying, this only appears when the token qualifies — it needs that BZE-paired liquidity pool behind it. Network staking itself always stays in BZE, which keeps the chain secure.

{% endcontent-ref %}

## A window into the token's burns

A token's page also surfaces its **burn stats** — how many tokens have been **burned in total**, when the **next burn** is due, and a **history** of past burns. Burning permanently removes tokens from circulation, so these figures are a transparency signal: an at-a-glance way to see how a project manages its supply over time.

# Overview

BZE Hub is a desktop application for BeeZee, currently under development. It runs a small local node on your own PC, so your computer connects to the network directly instead of going through public apps or a browser.

That means more independence and privacy: you interact with the blockchain using software you run yourself, rather than depending on a third-party website being online. It also carries its own built-in wallet, with your keys kept safely on your computer — so there's no browser extension to install.

As it takes shape, BZE Hub brings the everyday BeeZee actions into one place:

* A **dashboard** with your balances and the network's status.
* Your **portfolio**, with send and receive.
* **Trading** — instant swaps, order-book markets, and liquidity pools.
* **Staking** and reward programs.

Token burning and token creation are planned for a later update.

{% hint style="info" %}
BZE Hub is still in development. Features and availability will be announced as it gets closer to release.

# Overview

The CoinTrunk Extension is a self-custodial browser wallet for the BeeZee network. It safely holds BZE and the tokens created on BeeZee — you can receive coins and check your balances, with sending on the way — and your keys stay on your own device, with no account to sign up for.

What makes it stand out is that it adapts to the token you use: for a token that qualifies, the wallet takes on that token's name and look, so a community can give its members a wallet that feels entirely their own. By default, it wears its own CoinTrunk look.

**CoinTrunk** combines a blockchain module and a user-friendly application. The mobile application delivers news from the Cosmos ecosystem and offers wallet features for Cosmos SDK blockchains.

The wallet is **self-custodial,** which means all funds are entirely under the user's control. The mnemonic generated at wallet creation facilitates wallet recovery or transfer to another wallet, while the password secures the wallet's private keys. The private key and mnemonic **NEVER** leave the wallet, ensuring that CoinTrunk or BZE developers do **NOT** have access to any wallet information. It is **impossible** to recover a lost mnemonic or password. Always ensure you back up your wallet and password in a secure location.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The CoinTrunk Android app is no longer listed on the Google Play Store. Use Keplr for BZE on mobile and desktop in the meantime.

# Liquidity Pools

Stake on Osmosis on BZE/OSMO

Pool Link : <https://app.osmosis.zone/pool/856>

Staking on LPs differs from traditional on-chain staking in the following ways:

* You have to stake both BZE and OSMO in equal amounts.

As in you want to stake 1000 BZE you also have to stake 1.68 Osmosis.

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-ff754aab93e6fcb31d82467352ed6fc73ced14d2%2Fimage%20(58).png?alt=media" alt="" width="152"><figcaption><p>At the time of writing this page.</p></figcaption></figure>

After staking this you get BZE/OSMO pair shares.![](https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-7545be9e9ec200ed01a3d13e75be5b9f06305d73%2Fimage%20\(61\).png?alt=media)

* Also in Osmosis there are two Levels of LP staking

1. Level 1: In this stage, you earn rewards through swap fees. The current APR is 3.38%. By participating, you benefit from transaction fees generated by users swapping tokens.

   <figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-75e913f7ced205da3ba79f53554717871c45ac0f%2Fimage%20(62).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
2. Level 2: In this stage, you can stake your coins for a longer period to earn a higher APR. This concept is known as Bonded Liquidity. By locking in your coins, you receive better rewards over time as a result of your commitment.

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-fa88add07c3f6f85b09c669fa919a13ab318a865%2Fimage%20(64).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption><p>Currently the APR here is 79.7%</p></figcaption></figure>

3. The LP offering high APR but they also have high risk i.e. participants face additional risks such as impermanent loss. It may occur when the value of tokens in the liquidity pool fluctuates in relation to each other.

{% hint style="info" %}
LP staking generally have more risk compared to traditional staking.

Make sure you understand all the terms before adding your tokens to Liquidity Pools.
{% endhint %}

# Proposals / Voting

# Token Factory Module

As the name suggests, token factory means to create tokens, i.e., cryptocurrency, on the BZE chain. Anyone can easily create their own crypto by using this module.

We have made it very easy to create tokens on BeeZee that anyone with very little or no technical background can easily create their own tokens.

When you click token factory, you will be led to this page, like this below.

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-e7804be6a85a63a9bb664f3025e88d0c927b88ad%2Fimage%20(7).png?alt=media" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Tokens List (left panel)**:

You can find a list of all the assets listed on BeeZee Blockchain created using our token factory module.

You click "Details" to find more useful information regarding the token , like total supply , Admin address.

Additionally, the token's verification status is available. Based on the authenticity and honesty of the information supplied by the owners, the BeeZee team will update the status of the verification. It isn't determined by money or trading volume of the project.

We adopt a strategy to cut down on the time and energy that numerous tokens waste trying to get verified by different organizations.

We understand this struggle, as we too lack millions of dollars and are therefore "unverified" or have "incomplete details" on numerous platforms.

However, on our platform, getting verified is simple, easy, and not frustrating.

{% hint style="info" %}
Verification status can be updated by contacting BeeZee team.
{% endhint %}

**Token Factory (right panel)**:

* Encourages users to use the BZE blockchain's Token Factory module to create their own unique tokens.
* Demonstrates the flexibility to create denominations that function on the blockchain just like any other coin.
* Highlights the ease of sending and utilizing tokens via Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) both within the BZE ecosystem and across other blockchains.

Move on to the next tab for information regarding how to create your own token on BeeZee

* **Staking rewards**: This tab is currently selected, indicating the user is managing staking rewards.
* **Trading rewards**: Another tab that can be selected for managing trading rewards.
* **My rewards**: This tab would show rewards the user is participating in.

# Staking Rewards

**What is Staking?**

Staking is similar to opening a savings account, but with cryptocurrency on a blockchain, rather than a bank. you "lock up" your coins for a specified period of time.

Two types of staking options are available on BZE are on-chain staking and DApp staking.

The key difference between these is their functionality and flexibility.

**Native Cosmos SDK staking,** staking uses BZE to maintain network decentralization by distributing voting power, essential for blockchain security and governance.

**DApp staking**, on the other hand, allows users to create/stake in pools with various tokens on the BeeZee chain , offering greater diversity and customization.

**What are Staking rewards?**

Staking rewards are the earnings you get for locking up your cryptocurrency. Just like how a bank pays you interest for keeping money in a savings account, the blockchain rewards you with more coins for staking.

On an annual basis, rewards are usually measured in terms of APR ( Annual Percentage Rate) , It is the annual rate of return you can earn on your staked or invested cryptocurrency.

Anyone using the Dapp can create or join the various staking pools present on BeeZee.

Let's take an example to understand it more clearly:

Imagine you have 100 BZE tokens.

* **APR**: The staking APR is 12%.
* **Lock Amount**: You decide to lock up (stake) 100 BZE tokens.
* **Rewards Calculation**: After one year, with a 12% APR, you would earn 12 BZE tokens as rewards.

So the maximum rewards that you can earn in a year can be calculated using an APR.

It doesn't mean that you will get your reward after one year; rewards are generally given in parts. It will be mentioned when you go to Dapp to stake some tokens. Rewards are distributed daily based on staking rewards

Always check the lock period of your coins to know when you can withdraw them at the earliest. Knowing the lock period helps you understand when you will be able to access your funds again.

Look at the image for a example :

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-37b16543c4fdefaa386d4f9b0565e3e13eeb583a%2Fimage%20(3).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You will need to stake TBZE to earn TBZE, and the reward frequency is daily. It means that you will get a part of the reward daily, depending on the amount of coins staked.

You can also see the lock time, which is 3 days.

**How Do You Get Started?**

1. You can use our Dapp to stake your tokens or coins in various pools that are available.
2. Head over to <https://dex.getbze.com/staking>.
3. Choose the staking pool you want to be a part of and the amount of coins you want to stake.
4. Use the stake button to enter the amount of coins, and then confirm by verifying the transaction in your wallet.

{% hint style="info" %}
Always check and understand the lock period before staking your coins. This ensures you know when you can access your funds again, helping you manage your investments and financial plans effectively.
{% endhint %}

# How to create staking Rewards

Staking rewards can be created by anyone with any two tokens or the same token (for stake and as reward). **The user that creates the staking rewards will have to provide the daily rewards for others to enjoy.**

For example, someone creating a staking reward chooses BZE as the coins for the stake and VDL as the reward. User entering the pool will need to stake BZE to earn VDL.

By click on "Add Staking Rewards" button you will be prompted to enter the rewards details.

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-d2b28d1fd0819bb269fce29baeb76168ee33ff39%2Fimage%20(49).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Daily Reward : As the name suggests, the daily rewards for the pool, following the above example we choose VDL as the reward coin.

Reward Duration : The number of days the pool will be live for

Staking coin : According to the example we choose staking coin as BZE , and also you can also define the minimum stake for pool

Unstake lock : An input field where the user can specify the number of days the staked amount will be locked before it can be unstaked.

This form allows users to configure the details of the staking rewards they want to create, including the reward amount, the duration of the reward, the type of coins involved, and the conditions for staking and unstaking.

# Burner Module

As the name "Burner Module" implies, this is used for burning BZE. It makes it easier for users of BZE to actively participate in burning as it removes many hassles associated with burning.

With just a click of a button, a specific amount of BZE entered by the user can be burned.

The burning of BZE is also supported by various methods that have been incorporated into our blockchain. These are :arrow\_heading\_down:

1. Market Buy Back: We plan to buy back BZE on a monthly basis and use it to fund the burning module. The amount will range from a few dollars to several hundred dollars, depending on our operating expenses and income . These trades will be made gradually throughout the month to avoid having a significant impact on prices or giving arbitrage traders an advantage.
2. Trading Fees: Fees collected on Trade Module that is collected from users is sent to the burner module.
3. Community pool: Funds for this pool come from various taxes collected by the blockchain for using different features, such as market pair creation, token creation, staking rewards, and trading rewards.

You can check out fees of trade module and others features below :arrow\_down\_small:

{% content-ref url="/pages/mDJm74JiBfpJ02fQvnnR" %}
[BZE DAPP/Blockchain Fees Overview](/old-docs-deprecated/old-docs/blockchain-params/bze-dapp-blockchain-fees-overview)
{% endcontent-ref %}

{% hint style="success" %}
Fun Fact: So far, a total of 179,000,000 BZE has been burned, and we plan to burn more. (as of writing this page)
{% endhint %}

Apart for these users can also take part in actively burning BZE by using the Burner Module.

# Burning Raffle

As the name suggests, it's an easy-to-use raffle system built on Beezee.

Users can navigate to the Burner module to quickly check if a raffle is open.

In the image below, you can see a raffle is currently open with a prize pool exceeding 100k BZE.

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-45e78a543c9f2c7565b2c834a9105a1efcaf33b1%2Fimage%20(68).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also see all the other major and minor details like

* **Ticket Price :** 25 BZE
* **Chances :** 1 out of 10,000 : The odds of winning per ticket out of 10,000 tickets.
* **Time Remaining :** 12 days
* Winners and Total BZE won that is currently 0.

Users can buy tickets to enter the raffle, with each ticket adding to the pot. After two blocks, the blockchain checks if the ticket is a winner. If so, the user wins a portion of the pot, while the rest remains locked for future prizes.

{% hint style="warning" %}
All raffles have a set end date. When a raffle ends, the remaining pot is burned, with the amount and block height recorded on the blockchain and shown in the "Burner" section of the BZE app.
{% endhint %}

## Steps to join a raffle

1. Visit the burner module and connect your wallet
2. Click on "Try your luck" Option :arrow\_down\_small:

<figure><img src="https://576605615-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F7uBGI8RKC2Mwtz2yklDH%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-a0484ca2702775b17780a1ab3a28ae79b3c9870c%2Fimage%20(70).png?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Afterward, your wallet will ask you to approve the transaction. Once approved, the ticket price (25 BZE in this case) will be deducted from your wallet.

As you can see you have to wait for 8-15 sec while the blockchain decides if you are a winner.

#### Market Coin

The base coin is the first currency listed in a trading pair and is the asset being traded. For example, in the trading pair VDL/BZE, VDL is the base coin. When you create a market or place an order, you are either buying or selling this base coin (VDL) against the quote coin.

Users can select the market coin by clicking the "+ Pick coin" button.

#### Quote Coin

The quote coin is the second currency listed in a trading pair and is used to price the base coin. For instance, in the trading pair VDL/BZE, BZE is the quote coin. The price of the base coin (VDL) is expressed in terms of the quote coin (BZE). In other words, it shows how much of the quote coin is needed to purchase one unit of the base coin.

**Fee Information**

* **Create Market Fee :** A fee of 25,000 BZE is required to create the market.

**Action Buttons**

* **Cancel :** Cancels the process of creating a market.

# Trading Fee Mechanism on DEX

Trading Fee plays a major role in stability of ecosystem as it is directly added to burner module which helps manage the total supply.

There are two important roles in trading process : **Market Maker** and **Market Taker .**

**Market Maker :** A market maker is someone who adds liquidity to the market. They accomplish this by placing buy or sell orders at predetermined prices, which are not immediately filled. These orders remain on the order book, waiting for other traders to match them. By placing these orders, market makers contribute to a smoother trading experience, giving buyers and sellers more options.

**Market Taker :** A market taker is someone who buys or sells an asset at its current market price. They place orders that are instantly matched with existing market orders, essentially "taking" available orders. This role is critical for the quick execution of trades, which makes the market more dynamic and responsive.
